
A slice of deliciousness
Denise baked this peach and blueberry galette before we left for the fireworks show, and it was waiting for us when we got back. A galette is like an open-face pie with a light, flaky crust. Denise says it’s super-easy to make, which makes its tastiness-to-effort ratio off the charts. I believe fruit galettes are considered summer desserts, and lo and behold–it is summer! I definitely don’t mind eating this year round though.
