Here are more random bits of adventures in family vacation-ry.
Just looking
Looks like Sofia has learned how to window shop already. Good. Because that’s all the shopping you’ll be doing for a while with the economy in the hole like it is.
Apple store
Oh look: an Apple store. If it wasn’t clear before then now we know for sure that we don’t belong in this swanky part of town. We’re like some uppity peasants strolling around the duke’s courtyard.
Giant mural
Not sure why this gigantic mural is here, who painted it, etc., but it’s cool anyway.
Lights on trees
Bethesda–we’re so rich we wrap lights around our trees and keep them lit all year long.
Crepes
Ooh–crepes! We still have room in our stomachs, right y’all? Right? Ok, maybe next time then. This food stall was still open at quarter till 10 at night, and the people standing in line weren’t leerily darting their eyes back and forth to make sure they weren’t about to get mugged or killed. Love it.
